Early career and education
Anand Dubey earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) before beginning his corporate career with multinational organizations including Godrej & Boyce and KOHLER. During this period, he gained experience in business development, sales leadership, strategic partnerships, and market expansion, building a strong foundation in corporate management before entering the commercial laundry industry.
Career
A significant phase of Anand Dubey's career began in 2014 when he joined Alliance Laundry Systems (ALS) as the company's first employee in India. At the time, the country's commercial laundry sector remained largely unorganized and was dominated by traditional laundry businesses. Dubey focused on introducing international commercial laundry technologies while promoting professionally managed laundry operations through modern equipment, channel partner development, and organized business models.
In 2015, he collaborated with ADD Laundry to establish Washeteria in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, one of India's earliest self-service laundromats. The project demonstrated the feasibility of customer-operated commercial laundry services and contributed to increasing awareness of organized laundry businesses.
The following year, he worked with entrepreneur Arunabh Sinha and Franchise India during the launch of UClean, providing commercial laundry equipment and technical guidance. The success of the initiative contributed to the growth of India's organized laundry franchise ecosystem and encouraged the expansion of brands including TumbleDry, Fabrico, and Waasle.
As organized laundry services expanded across India, particularly following increased awareness of hygiene and professional garment care after the COVID-19 pandemic, Dubey continued supporting industry growth through the deployment of Speed Queen commercial laundry equipment. The adoption of organized laundry infrastructure increased significantly during this period across retail laundry businesses throughout the country.
In June 2025, Anand Dubey joined JENSEN Group as Country Head – India & South Asia. His responsibilities include strengthening the company's regional presence while promoting industrial laundry automation for hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and commercial laundry facilities. Under his leadership, JENSEN Group has continued expanding advanced laundry technologies, including tunnel washers, automated material handling systems, and flatwork finishing solutions across India and South Asia.
