Anand Dubey is an Indian business executive and commercial laundry industry leader. He currently serves as the Country Head – India & South Asia at JENSEN Group, where he leads the company's regional operations and business development initiatives across India and South Asia. He is widely recognized for his contributions to the modernization of India's organized commercial laundry industry through the adoption of industrial automation, self-service laundry concepts, franchise-based business models, and advanced commercial laundry technologies.

Early career and education

Anand Dubey earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) before beginning his corporate career with multinational organizations including Godrej & Boyce and KOHLER. During the early years of his career, he gained experience in business development, sales management, customer relationship management, and strategic partnerships. These roles provided him with exposure to international business practices and laid the foundation for his leadership in the commercial laundry industry.

Career

A defining phase of Anand Dubey's professional journey began in 2014 when he joined Alliance Laundry Systems (ALS) as the company's first employee in India. At that time, India's commercial laundry industry remained largely unorganized and was primarily served by traditional neighborhood laundries. Dubey focused on introducing modern commercial laundry technologies while creating awareness about professionally managed laundry businesses through equipment demonstrations, channel partner development, and organized business models.

One of the early demonstrations of this approach involved establishing a compact commercial laundry outlet in Mumbai equipped with stack washer and dryer systems, proving that organized laundry services could be successfully operated even within limited retail spaces.

Development of Organized Laundry Businesses

In 2015, Anand Dubey collaborated with ADD Laundry to establish Washeteria in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The outlet is regarded as one of India's earliest self-service laundromats and demonstrated the feasibility of customer-operated commercial laundry services within the country.

In 2016, he worked alongside entrepreneur Arunabh Sinha and Franchise India during the launch of UClean. By providing commercial laundry equipment and technical guidance, he contributed to one of India's earliest organized laundry franchise models.

The success of this initiative encouraged the growth of several organized laundry brands including TumbleDry, Fabrico, and Waasle, helping transform commercial laundry into a scalable entrepreneurial opportunity across India.

Industry Growth

As awareness regarding hygiene and professional garment care increased, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, India's organized laundry sector experienced significant growth.

During this period, Anand Dubey continued promoting the adoption of Speed Queen commercial laundry equipment. The number of organized retail laundry stores operating with these systems reportedly expanded from nearly 1,000 before the pandemic to more than 5,000 outlets across India, reflecting the rapid expansion of the organized laundry ecosystem.

JENSEN Group

In June 2025, Anand Dubey joined JENSEN Group as Country Head – India & South Asia. His responsibilities include strengthening the company's regional presence while promoting industrial laundry automation throughout India and South Asia.

JENSEN Group is an international manufacturer of heavy-duty laundry systems offering tunnel washers, automated material handling systems, flatwork finishing equipment, and complete processing solutions for hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and industrial laundries.

Under his leadership, the company continues to expand the adoption of automation technologies designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce dependence on manual labour, optimize energy consumption, and support environmentally sustainable laundry operations.
